What We Did

Problem

Over the last six years, the global shipping industry has been through stormy waters, adding to that, the regulation of emissions is forcing companies to improve the design in ship building industry facing the stricter limits on sulfur emissions.

Research

We realized that the biggest impact of the ship pollution comes from the docking phase, when the ship is at the port and close to the habit of human beings, wasting fuel and generating emissions for no cause. Therefore, we focused on minimizing the emissions during the ship docking.

Implementation

Our concept is based on an idea of a division of an engine compartment (tug) from the main body of the ship (barge) during the docking phase.

The technologies that we are implementing in our design: dual-fuel engines, electrical engines, batteries and automation technologies.

Concept

Challenging the traditional way of shipping, improving the loading and unloading, saving time, and being a better way of transport for the environment, reinforcing its greatness. This is our modular concept. A brand-new way of shipping, that will no longer be a vision but a near future. A clean efficient maritime transportation that can cross any ocean.
